Calvary New City is a local church whose purpose is simple: To Make Jesus non-ignorable by helping one another follow Jesus and seek his Kingdom as a daily lifestyle. We are committed to basing our teaching and ministry on the Bible, and being a church for all people no matter where you come from or what you have or have not experienced in a church before.

The Horne’s both grew up in Wyoming and after having their first child in 2012 they moved to Uganda where they stayed for two years. After moving back the USA, their journey led to becoming a part of the Calvary Family of Churches to plant New City in Aurora, CO beginning in 2019. They have five children and are grateful to call North Aurora home.

Megan Seffins
Worship Leader
Hailing from Irvine, California, Meg moved to Colorado to attend Colorado Christian University to study outdoor leadership. Meg started volunteering to care for the many children at New City and began leading worship in the Horne’s backyard during the 2020 pandemic. Meg is passionate about caring for and enjoying God’s creation and loves the welcoming and deep relationships she has found with New City.
